South African Association of Energy Services Companies (SAAEs)

 


SAAEs is a national trade organization in the energy services industry. The association was established in 2004 at the onset of the demand-side management (DSM) programme in South Africa

The purpose of SAAEs is to act as an industry voice for Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) Our aims are to assist government and industry in achieving the targets of the energy strategy of South Africa by developing the local energy services sectors, ensure a healthy ESCO business environment and to create an open forum between the role players in the energy services business in South Africa.

SAAEs is managed by a board comprising a President, Secretary and four members, representing usually the Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Developing ESCO sectors. All board members are employees of member companies.

SAAEs acts as the industry advocate for the delivery of cost effective energy services. Our current membership of 55 includes ESCOs, equipment suppliers, engineers and consultants.

SAAEs is registered with the South African Department of Welfare as a non-profit organisation (registration number NPO: 053/951).
